Bhote Koshi River is one of the most adventurous rivers for rafting trip in Nepal. Bhote Koshi River is also one of the most popular white-water rafting and river is located about 70 km east of Kathmandu valley. Bhote Koshi River originates from high Himalayas of Tibet hence called the Bhote and Koshi means River. From the place of its origination the river flows down through the steep mountains creating the remarkable torrent all year round. This torrent makes the river one of the best for this adventure sports. The river also serves for the Hydro electricity project named Bhote Koshi project and produce (45 MW) electricity. The Last Resort, one of the world's deepest gorge bungee jumps, is based in this river's gorge.

Bhote Koshi River rafting starts from the Dolalghat which is the take in point of the rafting trip. The river offers some most challenging and incredible rapids of class 4-5-6. Bhote koshi river rafting is an idyllic trip for the experienced rafters and kayakers. You raft altogether 20 kms along the river during which you will encounter the Rapids like in the plumbing, Frog in a blender, Exlax, The Great Wall, Liquid bliss, Dazed & Confused.This two days long rafting trip will give you the ultimate adventure. Day 1 : Drive from Kathmandu to Dolalghat

Early in the morning after having breakfast you drive from Kathmandu to Dolalghat on the bank of the Sunkoshi River which is 40 kms south of the Tibet. Dolalghat is the put in point for our and Bhote koshi river rafting. Upon arrival, on Beni briefing will be done and then you will get ready with the required gears and equipments. You will start your 3 days rafting trip from here. You will encounter the class IV rapids en route and learn about River Currents, Eddies, Whirlpool, Hydraulic Hole, Rapids; as well as Self-rescue, Flip drill, Whitewater Floating Position and more. Overnight camping on bank of river.

Day 2 : Adventure and Return back to Kathmandu

Early in the morning after having your breakfast you pack up your Gears and get ready for the adventure. Today you will get to encounter the rapids of class III and IV known as Gebrils. Immediately after rafting for twenty feet you will get to encounter class 3+/4- drops, which lead us into a nifty, little rapid called Carnal. Your take out point is at Lamo Sangu here you get fresh and return back to Kathmandu.
